The MRA ACT have written to remind us that the Annual Motorcyclists Blanket Run is on next Saturday, 10th May.
A suggestion is to consider donating our pre-loved
riding jackets, to be given to those people in our community who are homeless. As
riders, we know riding jackets are warm and also robust and would be very
welcome by people facing a very cold winter this year.
If you would like to contribute this way please go through your
wardrobes and bring any spare or disused jackets to the Blanket Run on 10th
May.
Spread
the word to your riding friends, let’s make a
difference and help keep some people warm this winter with blankets and
jackets. And don't forget that cash and non-perishable food is very
welcome as well.
