Half Day Planning Day on 11 August 2018 - by Mike Carmody

Hi folks,

As you are aware, Maritta has asked me to facilitate a short 1/2 day workshop programmed for am Saturday, 11 August to consider the issue of membership. Declining numbers, disengagement etc., is affecting most branches and ours is no exception.

The workshop will focus on the development and growth of the ACT Branch; how do we attract new members, retain our current members, increase the engagement of our members, and tackle the associated challenge of fund raising - generating more dollars to replenish the coffers. Essentially, we will seek to improve the value proposition currently on offer to members. The task for the workshop is to develop a range of strategies that will drive specific plans for action for implementation over the next 12 months. Your participation at the workshop is most welcomed, the more heads around the table the better the outcomes.

Should you wish to attend, or provide some opening thoughts or ideas for consideration, please contact me at mike.paratus@gmail.com by 1 August.

Maritta has confirmed the venue details and timing, and they are:
